The pressure that a stocking exerts on the legs is specified as the compression value. The higher the compression number, the more pressure is exerted by the stockings. This is measured in mmHg (millimeters of mercury). The compression stockings with low pressure intended for preventive purposes are the X-LIGHT and the X-COOL Ccl 1. The compression value of these stockings is also called Class 1 (Ccl. 1) and is between 15-20 mmHg. Class 2 stockings have a pressure of 20-30 mmHg and here the X-SOFT and X-COOL Ccl. 2 below.
